Hi guys! I've got two weeks' worth of books and blog updates since I didn't have time to post last weekend. I hope you've all had a great first week of October. We've been having absolutely gorgeous weather here (southeastern-ish Ontario) and the leaves have already started to turn. The last few years the trees have been kind of blah but this year they're already absolutely beautiful and so colourful. I just hope it lasts because this is my favourite time of year and it never seems to last long!
FOR REVIEW:
Into the Still Blue
by Veronica Rossi {GoodReads}
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge {GoodReads}
House of Ivy & Sorrow by Natalie Whipple {GoodReads}
All That Glows by Ryan Graudin {GoodReads}
Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong {GoodReads}
Perfect Lies by Kiersten White {GoodReads}
Great Sara Benincasa {GoodReads}
I was granted auto-approval from HarperCollins on Edelweiss last week. I love Harper; they've been very generous to me, so to get auto-approval was a huge honour. HUGE. I don't want to seem like I'm bragging because I'm honestly not...this is a big deal for me (not gonna lie, I was kind of overwhelmed when I found out and may have shed a happy tear or two).

I've been warned that with great power comes great responsibility, and while I promised myself I wouldn't go nuts downloading review copies, I kinda did. I didn't get these all at once...at first I just got my most anticipated titles (INTO THE STILL BLUE HOLY CRAP BATMAN I CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I AM) but then I kept going back throughout the week and downloading more. Luckily none of these even come out until next year, so I have plenty of time to read and review them.
*A massive and heartfelt thank-you to HarperCollins for these amazing titles.*

ReplyDeleteDon't even worry about freaking out that Harper whitelisted you, I did!! They are one of the best publishers out there and are super picky. It's quite an accomplishment getting up to their standards and I know it took lots of work. Be happy! (: I definitely did a double take when I saw that green "Download DRC" button. The funny thing is that before they whitelisted me, an hour earlier they had denied me access to HOUSE OF IVY & SORROW. Strange!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to SEA OF SHADOWS. It sounds really good. I wanted to download PERFECT LIES but I didn't read the first book soooo I restrained myself. I hear FANGIRL is amazing. Enjoy!!
My STS post
Love the look of Fangirl, I am seeing it everywhere at the minute.
ReplyDeleteI have also just finished Time Between Us & Time After Time!

I haven't read TTEN yet, but it's my goal to read it before Into the Still Blue expires from Edelweiss. I have quite a few of those titles you got, too. EXCITED EXCITED EXCITED for House of Ivy & Sorrow. It sounds sooo good. The Beauty and the Beast re-telling...let me know how it is!
