In My Mailbox Week 13

In My Mailbox is weekly meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren.  The idea is to share books you've acquired during the week, whether you've won them, bought them, picked them up at the library, received them for review, whatever.  It's a great way to bring attention to books and authors and share the love!

So, I had to make this video 3 times. The first one was about 15 minutes long (crazy, I know), but my computer wouldn't upload it. That's happened to me before but I figured it was a fluke. But no...apparently my computer doesn't like when I make long videos. Maybe it wants to save you guys from having to watch them lol. Anyway, the second video was too long too, so in the third and final one, I had to cut quite a bit out and keep it brief. I missed getting to tell you guys a few things, but c'est la vie. I did, however, add in some fun pumpkin carving stuff with my nephews at the end - I hope you guys enjoy! :-)
Books mentioned:
Review books:

Bought:
(Yes, bought. If you've visited my blog before or seen my videos, you'll know that I haven't been able to buy books for a really long time because I'm a poor struggling writer, and I scrape by from paycheque to paycheque, so books haven't been in my budget for many years. Things are slowly getting better, and I've been able to buy a book here and then when I find good sales.)
Won:
Spirit Guide series ebooks by EJ Stevens:
Very big thank you to:
**Wendy from A Cupcake and a Latte, and EJ Stevens for the Spirit Guide series
**Stephanie from Book Reader Addicts - I won a $10 Amazon GC from her and was able to buy the Neil McCormick book, which I've been wanting forever!
**Leyane from Forge/MacMillan
**Stacey from Entangled Publishing
Also, I mentioned author Laura Kaye in the video. She's an online pal of mine, and I won a gift certificate for The Wild Rose Press from her big 6 month anniversary bash for Hearts in Darkness. Thank you Laura! When I use the GC, I'll include my purchase in an IMM. BTW...Laura's brand new book, North of Need, comes out this Tuesday, November 1st! ;-)

  5. Isn't it awesome to be able to buy books again! I'm at a similar point where I'm (possibly definitely) overindulging in the feeling.

I loved All These Things... but it seems to be one of those books that generates all sorts of strong feelings so I can't wait to see what you think! Also Anna and the French Kiss is wonderful.

Fabulous library books, I'm dying to get my hands on a copy of all these things I've done but it's not available here, even from book depo! I do have sweet venom though and hoping to read it soon.
Well done on all your wins! I got Anna and the French kiss this week to as a RAK but I decided not to do an IMM in the end, I felt to crap to even turn on my computer! So I'll be doing a two week one this coming weekend.
