*I got an email from Chapters/Indigo last week saying that because my birthday is this month, I'd get 500 bonus reward points for buying anything online or in store so it gave me the excuse I'd been needing to go into the store and look around. I got Grave Mercy and Gilt (both hardcovers) for $4.99 apiece. I love a bargain!

  • I participated in the Book Blitz for If Only We by Jessica Sankiewicz

  • I reviewed Snowed Over by Angie Stanton and gave it 3.5 stars

  • I reviewed Sia by Josh Grayson and gave it 3 stars

My week in a nutshell: online shopping, finishing up designs for the cover of Molli Moran’s debut novel, trying to get caught up on blogging and reading, attempting to get ready for Christmas, and spending time with this little angel:
Maddy, my 6-month-old niece - see her shirt? It says My Aunt is My BFF
A couple other things: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (my Christmas novella) is having a book blitz right now, hosted by YA Bound Book Tours. You can enter to win 1 of 2 $10 Amazon or Barnes & Noble gift cards.

Also, I'm part of Book Rhythm's 12 Days of Christmas event, which is happening on Facebook December 12th - the 24th. There are currently over 70 authors (and new authors are still being added) and over 100 books up for grabs, including copies of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Be sure to join the event here for fun, games, and free stuff!

That's it for me. Thanks for stopping by! How was your week? Did you get any new books? Have you read any good ones that you'd recommend? Tell me in the comments below or post a link to your Stacking the Shelves/Book Haul/In My Mailbox/Showcase Sunday, etc. Happy reading! <3
