The Wicked Valentine's Read-a-Thon is hosted by the lovely girls over at My Shelf Confessions. This is their fourth read-a-thon, and I'm happy to say I've participated in every single one! :-)
My goal for the week:
-Read at least 700 pages
Since I'm a slow reader, I'm going to be realistic and just pick three books for now. Two are review books and one is a 'pleasure' read. I'll add to the list if I manage to get these three read. I'm also partway through Sacred Celtic Places, and will be counting the remaining pages toward my goal.
The Water Witch by Juliet Dark
None of the Regular Rules by Erin Downing
The Archived by Victoria Schwab
Sacred Celtic Places by Iain Zaczek (on page 79 as of the beginning of the read-a-thon)
I'll be posting all updates in this post.

The Water Witch has such a nice cover! I'm aiming for 700 pages as well - let's hope we can finish at least two books! :) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, Marie! I won a copy of The Archived and I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI'm taking part in the read-a-thon and have a list of books ready to go. :) I'm having trouble focusing--the parcel with my birthday present from Jay was suppose to get left at the door and the note is gone but I don't see anything there. I hate the thought of losing mail!! I need to stay calm til someone else is here to help me check fully on this, but it's wrecking my reading. :(
Anyway, I hope you have fun this week! Once this mess sorts out my reading should pick up. (I've read 4 pages *mortified*.)
Just so ya know: the package has been found. My brother threw it in my room and it landed behind--what else?--a pile of books. So, now I need to decide: read or play Fire Emblem. :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun! A read-a-thon sound so positively delightful. I wish I could join.
