Announcements:
I have a giveaway going on until next Friday to celebrate the release of my new book of erotic romance short stories, Undressed. I'm also taking part in the Naughty or Nice Giveaway Hop on my author blog and you have another chance to win a copy of Undressed OR my debut novel, Blue Sky Days.
Also, the Spooktacular Paranormal Reading Challenge starts in a little over a week. If you'd like to check it out and (hopefully) sign up, there's a link at the top of the blog, as well as a button at the top right. If quite a few more people sign up I'm thinking about throwing in another prize, so be sure to sign up if you love paranormal book (or fantasy or urban fantasy or any books with otherworldly creatures).
What
books did you get this week? Tell me in the comments below or post a
link to your Stacking the
Shelves/Book Haul/In My Mailbox/Showcase Sunday, etc.

I'm not a huge TV person, but I do enjoy a few shows. I own all the released seasons for Desperate Housewives. I love NCIS and The Mentalist. It's over now, but Farscape is absolutely awesome and really "must watch" if you get the chance.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw Changeling for $5 or $6 today on the Chapters bargain table. My family went into the city this morning and I picked up a few new books since I'm Finally Almost Really Done with Sealer's Promise. (Until I get beta feedback, at least.) I need to read stuff to 'refill the well' as I work on outlining Sealer's Quest and the Tales of Ellithica fantasy / fairy tales series I want to do.
I remember being into Buffy and Angel for a while. I've never been too good at keeping track of when a show is on TV though. More of a 'buy the darn DVDs and devour it' kinda girl. :D
I have Scarlet on my Kindle and should really get to that one of these days, as I'm a huge fan of anything Robin Hood, too.
Have a great week!
One of my friends loves TVD too :) Trashy reality TV can be addictive, though - do you watch Survivor or The Amazing Race? None of my friends watch either of these :( Survivor has already started and TAR premieres on Sept 30 I think.
ReplyDeleteAnd you bought one of Marian's books!!!!!!!! SCREAM! I actually haven't read AOT yet but I do have it. I hope you'll enjoy it. Marian really is a dote, you just can't not love her. :)
Thanks for mentioning me in the video! And haaaaaaaaappy reading!
*feels like a rockstar*
ReplyDeleteI'm doing: Castle, Hart of Dixie, Revolution, TVD, Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, Bones, and Arrow.
Just a suggestion buuuuuuuuuuuut you should REALLY REALLY watch Bones. David Boreanaz is just...AMAZING, as always.
Arrow and Revolution are my only NEW shows. None of the other ones look great. I thought about watching Beauty and the Beast but even it looks rather "meh."
THE ARCHIVED! Since Disney/Hyperion really doesn't seem to like book bloggers *pouts* I will likely pre-order that one, too. Because we BOTH know how amazing V Schwab is!
Awesome books this week! I hope you enjoy everything you got this week.
ReplyDeleteMy IMM
You got some really good books this week. Plus the Entertainment Weekly Fall TV Preview looks good.
ReplyDeleteGrace
Awesome haul, I am a book loving, TV junkie and the new fall line up holds promise. Have a really great week!
ReplyDeleteJust stocked up on some Brent Weeks books - so excited!
ReplyDeleteI really need to read Scarlet!
ReplyDeleteThis fall I'm loving Sons of Anarchy, that's my favorite show! Was so excited when it started a few weeks ago! I'm also excited for Dexter which starts next week. I totally watch Dancing with the Stars too, so excited for the All-Stars season.
Great vlog, I love seeing faces!
