Canadian Reading Challenge Wrap-up

Happy August, everyone!

Although the Canadian Reading Challenge was a modest challenge compared to many others, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out, and I'm very grateful to everyone who participated.

14 people signed up, 12 people participated, and 9 people completed the challenge, with a total of 46 reviews (not including the books I read and reviewed in July). Pretty good numbers I'd say! :-)

Here are the books that were read and reviewed for the Canadian Reading Challenge:

Sarah from Workaday Reads

Kristilyn from Reading in Winter

Carolyn from Riedel Fascination

Vanessa at Bookborne

Claire from Project To Be Read

Rachelia from Bookish Comforts

My Canadian July Reviews

The randomly selected winner of the challenge is Michelle from Fabbity Fab Book Reviews! Congrats Michelle!

I had so much fun with this challenge that I'll be doing it again next year, so be sure to keep an eye out. I'll also be hosting my second annual Paranormal Reading Challenge this October, and the sign-ups will be going up next month so if you love paranormal books (and I'm being loose with the term again this year - vampires, witches, werewolves, shifters, ghosts, mermaids, faeries, angels, demons, you name it) be sure to sign up!

  1. Thank you so much for hosting such a great month, Marie! The posts you had were awesome -- I loved reading so much about our beautiful country!

And so many wonderful reviews! I hope to contribute a little more next year. I found a lot of Canadian authors I'd like to read!

  3. Looks like a great challenge and I agree, some wonderful results. Listing the titles here helps to give them a chance to be seen in case someone else may be interested.

  5. I've been busy as all get out this year, but I'm sure I'll find time to do the Paranormal challenge. :D I had fun with that last year.
