WWW Wednesdays (12) & Waiting on Wednesday (1)

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.  All you have to do is answer these 3 questions:

1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you'll read next?

Simple right?  I love to read and love to know what other people are reading!

What are you currently reading?
I'm about to start reading Boys Next Door by Jennifer Echols, and I still have to finish Coffee at Little Angels by Nadine Rose Larter.

What did you recently finish reading?
I just (like a few minutes ago) finished reading Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris.  I'll be posting the review for that tomorrow.  I usually have a few to list but I spent all of last week reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness and because it was only a week loan from the library, I didn't have time to finish it (almost 600 pages and I'm the slowest reader ever).  I'm hoping to get it back soon so I can finish it and finish my review.

What do you think you'll read next?
My review requests are piling up.  I have That Day in September by Artie Van Why, which I promised him I would have done before the 10-year anniversary of September 11.  I also have Brightwing by Sullivan Lee, Flame of Surrender by Rhiannon Paille, and a couple of review books coming in the mail, plus a pile of library books.  Oh and did I mention I'm trying to have my own novel ready for publication by September?  Yeah.  There really aren't enough hours in the day!
What are you reading this week?  Have you read any of the books on my list?  Have any suggestions?  I'd love to hear from you!

I've decided to participate in Waiting on Wednesday, which is hosted by Breaking the Spine and is meant to showcase upcoming releases that we're eagerly awaiting.   This week I'm waiting on...

Dutch Me Deadly by Maddy Hunter
Publication date: February 8, 2012

Synopsis: As a travel escort for seniors, Emily Andrew-Miceli has led her feisty Iowa clan all over the world. This time, they’re off to see historic windmills and Dutch art in Holland—if they can ever unplug from their smartphones, that is. Joining them is the class from Bangor, Maine, celebrating their 50th reunion, which is divided by old rivalries. Emily’s hopes for a 100% survival rate on this trip are dashed when an important member of the tour suffers a tragic (and highly suspicious) accident. Then the saucy seniors’ wild night of drug-laced desserts and risqué shows in Amsterdam’s red light district gets even more mysterious when one reunioner—the class bully—goes missing.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this book!  When I was writing my Top 10 Tuesday post on Monday night, I looked up the order of Maddy's books and discovered Dutch Me Deadly.  I was sure that Norway to Hide, released in 2007, was Maddy's last installment of the series, and apparently so did she - Maddy was nice enough to talk to me briefly today and I discovered that another publisher wanted her to carry on, so she's going to continue the series!  She's even going to see what she can do about getting me an ARC - she is super nice and I was thrilled to chat with her!

What are you waiting on this week?
