This challenge and giveaway are part of the Wicked Wildfire Read-a-Thon hosted by April from My Shelf Confessions and Bex from Kindle Fever. If you'd like to participate in the read-a-thon, it's not too late - you can sign up here until the 23rd!
Check out yesterday's post with my reading goals, answers to the first two challenges, and my reading progress.
As I mentioned yesterday, I've participated in all the WW Read-a-Thons, so I was very pleased to be asked to host a challenge this time around. I tried to keep it fairly simple - hopefully you guys have fun with it!
The Challenge:
Each little box is a piece of a book cover. The books are all YA, and they're fairly well known (most are spring/summer 2012 releases, the others are books I've read and loved, or want to read). Each square has a number, and when you fill out the Rafflecopter form, there's a corresponding box for each number. Simply write the book title in the box that corresponds with the cover's number.
The Prizes:
There will be two prizes and two winners. When I published my debut novel, Blue Sky Days, a friend of mine created a jewelry line to go along with the launch. She made beaded bookmarks and a few pieces of jewelry for four of the main characters in the book. Today I'm giving away this one-of-a-kind "Daisy" beaded bookmark.
Prize #2: I originally wanted to give away a book from the Book Depository, but all my extra book-buying funds are currently tied up in next month's Canada Spotlight Month...so, a second winner will win an e-book of Blue Sky Days. In the Rafflecopter form, you can specify whether you're entering for the book, the bookmark, or either (in the 'extra information' section, you can write 'book', 'bookmark', or 'both').
*Both giveaways are open internationally.*
If you have any questions, I'll be around most of the day, and I'll keep checking the comments section. You can also contact me via Twitter (@SweetMarie83). Now, without any further ado, here's the challenge!
Despite what the Rafflecopter timer says, this challenge runs from 8am today until 8am tomorrow (Friday).
Thanks for the giveaways Marie! ;)
ReplyDeleteCool challenge. Unfortunately I know nothing about YA books, so this could take some research! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying your read-a-thon.
Awesome giveaway! :D Managed to solve most of those pieces. (:

Fun contest! #4 really has me stumped!!
ReplyDeleteIt was so hard to figure out #4! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my god! Number 9! I'm going nuts here. It's the last one I need and I can't find it...
ReplyDeleteYou might be slightly evil for doing this to us.
Great challenge. I had to change my answer for #5 because it and another book are similar. It took me forever to find #4 but I finally got it. Let's just hope I'm right, lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what happened, but I had all of my entries entered except for one and the form reset to showing I hadn't entered anything. I checked the recent activity link and saw that my entries showed up, but there may be one or two duplicates. Sorry about that. I've never had a Rafflecopter do that to me before! Anyway, thanks for the fun brain teaser and for the giveaway. =O)
ReplyDeleteYay! It's taken me a while to get them but I finally just got the last one! Thank you for the giveaway x
ReplyDeleteI'm stumped on 2, 3, 7 LOL I know I have seen 7 and 2 before but can't think of the names. Number 3 no clue. I always love the challenge anyway! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteEk, Marie! Number 3 was challenging. I managed to get them all though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I had some trouble with 2,3 and 4 but I think I figured them out. I also had the same problem as Michelle where Rafflecoptor reset itself on me, I hope I didn't send in any duplicate answers. Thanks for the giveaway. :D
ReplyDeleteUGH! I'm totally stuck on #4 AND #3!!
ReplyDeleteGreat puzzle!! I can see where you might think the picture is one book and it really is another book :) Thanks for the giveaway/challenge!
I got them all now but number 3! It is driving me nuts. I have been looking through a million covers trying to find that darn blue shoe! LOL
ReplyDeleteYAY! I got all nine of them! :) I knew 6 of them easily, but 2, 3, and 4 I had to do some research for.
ReplyDeleteHINT: There's a button on this blog that can take you to all nine books.
I'm stumped on #4. Maybe I'll figure it out in time.
ReplyDeleteFinished! I feel accomplished now :)
ReplyDeleteFiguring out #4 was hard, and I found it completely by accident.
Yay, I did it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, it was fun :)
