Blue Sky Days: my very first author spotlight & info about excerpts

Hello my lovely bookish buddies. I just wanted to share a few things with you that I'm extremely excited about. As many of you know, my novel Blue Sky Days will be out in January. Right now, I'm in the process of final revisions, and I'm hoping to have it to my final proofreaders and back to my fabulous editor by the end of this weekend. If all goes as planned, I'll have e-ARCs ready to send out sometime next month. *squee!*

More exciting stuff: I had my very first author spotlight this week, posted by Sharon at Obsession With Books. Sharon is an absolute gem, and if you haven't checked out her blog, you're really missing out because she always has a lot of fantastic stuff going on over there. Earlier this week, she did an author spotlight on me (I still get all giggly just saying/typing that), with my book trailer, book synopsis and author bio.

Thank you so much Sharon, this was really thrilling for me, and I appreciate it more than you know!

Also, yesterday as I was working on revisions, I decided it was time to finally start pulling out teasers and excerpts for the book. As I was working today, I posted about it on both my Facebook fan pages (writer page and book page), and mentioned that I was going to start posting the excerpts on my blog, and hoped a few bloggers would be willing to post some too. Within an hour, I had five people tell me they would post excerpts, and two people asking to review the book! That really made my day, let me tell you! I really feel so blessed to know so many terrific people through blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and GoodReads. You guys are freaking amazing, seriously.

If anyone else is interested in posting an excerpt to the book once I've got them pulled, please let me know in the comments. I'm also still looking for reviewers (as long as you can accept PDFs - sorry, no hard copies yet!), and if anyone is interested in hosting guest posts, interviews, spotlights, or anything else, I'd love you forever. As a related side note: for everyone who's posted something about my book so far, I've been taking a screen cap of their blog and posting it on both my fan pages with a link to the blog so that I can direct traffic back to their blog as a thank-you of sorts.

Thank you so much for the support, it means the world to me!
