Beauty Review: Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara

I received this product for free from Influenster and Revlon Canada

I have something a bit different for you all today: a product review! I was so excited to receive Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara from Influenster. Pretty much the only makeup I wear on a regular basis is mascara, so I'm always on the lookout for a type I really love. After using the Mega Multiplier Mascara for the last few weeks, I can honestly tell you it's my new go-to. It gives my lashes a natural look that’s perfect for everyday use.

There are many days when I wear mascara from morning to night, and the Mega Multiplier Mascara doesn’t flake or smudge, no matter how long I wear it. I’ve fallen asleep with it on, and it doesn’t smear under my eyes or leave marks on my pillowcases like most other mascaras, which is a definite bonus! I also like that it doesn’t clump during application, plus the brush is the perfect size to get all my lashes, even the short ones near the corners of my eyes. My lashes aren’t naturally very long or thick, but this formula really enhances them, and I feel confident with this as an everyday look or even for a nighttime look with additional makeup.

If you're looking for a long-lasting mascara at a great price, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Revlon's Mega Multiplier Mascara.

Have you tried the Mega Multiplier Mascara? What did you think? Do you have a favourite mascara? If you could only have one piece of make-up (mascara, lipstick, eye shadow, eyeliner, blush, etc), what would it be?

Product Review + Giveaway: CanvasPop

I’m the main photographer in my family. I’m always taking pictures during family events, or just everyday activities with my two nephews and niece. After waiting many years for our family to have a girl, we decided we required something more than just my photographs, and we started going to an incredible local photographer, Nicole from Nvision Productions (check out her website and Facebook). We’ve had three photo sessions with her so far, and I’ve wanted to do something special with the pictures for ages other than just the simple frames and collages I have, but I couldn’t figure out what.

Then CanvasPop contacted me and asked if I’d be interested in receiving a canvas and writing an honest review. I checked out their website, saw the gorgeous canvases (and a myriad of other photo-related products) they offered, and jumped at the chance. They were such a pleasure to work with. The whole process from the time I sent my picture until FedEx delivered my canvas took about a week...and considering this was over Easter weekend, which meant no mail for four days, I was pretty impressed!

I was also impressed with the packaging. My canvas was packed very carefully in sturdy cardboard with lots of bubble wrap. I tore into it and I’m not going to lie, tears came to my eyes when I saw it. It was so gorgeous. I took it out completely and inspected it from every angle, then just admired it for a long time. It was even more beautiful than I anticipated. The picture was sharp and vibrant, and the canvas itself was flawless.

The back has bumpers along the bottom so the canvas won’t scratch the wall when you hang it. There were even nails and hooks included, which was fantastic, because I can never seem to find nails and hooks when I need them!

Besides the included nails, I loved the other personal touches included, like the Made With Love sticker, and the fact the canvas has the name of who made it. You can tell it’s important to CanvasPop that their customers are happy. Also, as someone who’s environmentally conscious, I appreciated that they encourage people to recycle the packaging (the ‘Recycling is sexy’ printed on the bottom of one of the package stickers made me grin).

I’m incredibly impressed with CanvasPop, and I’m so grateful to them for this gorgeous canvas, which is now hanging in a place of honour in my living room. I’m always wary of ordering products from companies I’m unfamiliar with, so having the opportunity to receive this canvas for free was perfect. I have no hesitations whatsoever in recommending CanvasPop to all my friends and family, and I’ll definitely be ordering something else from them in the near future. I’m travelling to Europe early this summer and, being the photography-obsessed girl I am, I’m already planning out what I want to do with my photos. I think I’ll order either a collage, Instagram prints, or a triptych (a picture from London, a picture from Paris, and a picture from Rome, perhaps?), or maybe all of them!

Be sure to check out CanvasPop’s website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to learn more about their gorgeous, high-quality products, and to learn about sales, discounts, etc.

So...jealous of my stunning canvas? It’s okay, I’d be jealous too. ;-) Well, I have something (well, two somethings) exciting for you: the first is a 35% discount from CanvasPop. Just use the special code ROAD35 and you'll get 35% off your total order. This expires April 30th, so you’d better hurry!

The second thing? The incredible people at CanvasPop have offered a FREE 16x20 canvas of your very own (including free shipping) to one lucky Ramblings of a Daydreamer reader! I was shocked at their generosity, and so pleased to get to share the love with one lucky person.
