All the books in the top two rows of pictures (except for Angelfall, which I bought after I received World After by surprise for review) were bought at the Alzheimer's Society Book Sale last week. I got all 7 books for $7 - woohoo! I normally get a ton of books at the same (which happens twice a year), but after coming home with 23 books last week from the Blogger Meetup, I knew I had to be careful. I currently have books stacked on every available surface because I've run out of shelf space.
GIFT:

Dark Witch by Nora Roberts {GoodReads}
From my new friend Jessalynn - I finally have a real life friend who's a reader! *happy dances*
*A huge thank-you to Monarch Books of Canada, Berkley Trade, HarperCollins, Margaret K. McElderry Books, Growing Beyond YA, Katie McGarry, Evie, Dianne, and Jessalynn*

Last Christmas by Talli Roland {GoodReads}
Snowed Over by Angie Stanton {GoodReads}

- I reviewed Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer and gave it 4.5 stars - this is my new favourite Strohmeyer book!
- I'm giving away an ebook of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year in the Keeping Warm or Staying Cold Giveaway Hop
- My second novel, The Game Changer, celebrated its first birthday this week! To celebrate I'm sharing an excerpt from the book, plus I reduced the price from $2.99 to 99 cents. The graphic says 3 days only, but I decided to extend it through the weekend, so if you enjoy women's fiction that sweet, sexy, and full of feels, you can grab this one on sale until Monday morning!

{Amazon US || Amazon CAN || Amazon UK}
Don't have a Kindle? You can get THE GAME CHANGER for 99 cents on Smashwords in any format using the coupon code HH88L
- I did a week 2 recap for NaNoWriMo. I'm getting into the groove and getting a lot of writing done.

- This week signs up opened for the book blitz for my Christmas novella The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, hosted by YA Bound Book Tours.
- Also, this happened this week and I almost died:

CK and I were both quoted in an article in Quill and Quire earlier this year and we became Twitter friends afterward. I never expected her to read one of my books so I'm like asdfghjkl!!!!
- Tonight some friends are having a surprise birthday party for my brother (he turns 40 on the 26th). We're going out for dinner and then to a friend's place to have a bonfire and drinks. Last time I partied with this particular group I was sick for two days, so...yeah...I'm going to be more careful this time lol
So that's my week in books and other things. How
was your week? Did you get any new books? Have you read any good ones
that you'd recommend? Tell me in the comments below or post a
link to your Stacking the
Shelves/Book Haul/In My Mailbox/Showcase Sunday, etc. Happy reading! <3
