February's topic for the Contemporary Romance Reading Challenge is Contemporary Romance for Newbies. Since contemporary romance is my go-to favourite, it was hard to narrow it down, but I have 14 books I think would be great for newbies to the genre.
~ Young Adult ~
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
Wish You Were Italian by Kristin Rae
Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard
The Boys of Summer by CJ Duggan
Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
~ New Adult ~
Upside Down by Lia Riley
Trust the Focus by Megan Erickson
Swimming to Tokyo by Brenda St. John Brown
Have you read any of these books? What books would you recommend to someone who was new to contemporary romance? If you did a recommendation post for the challenge, feel free to leave your link in the comments!
Oh, man! I need to read My Life Next Door. It's one of those books I want to love so much that I'm scared I won't. From the ones I've read on your list I think you've got a great selection. People will definitely not be disappointed if they read these!
