Stacking the Shelves + What's Happening September 21st

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Hi guys! I've had a crazy busy week, but not a whole lot to report on the new books front, which is kind of good, I guess, since I'm drowning in books.

FOR REVIEW:

Full Ride by Margaret Peterson Haddix {GoodReads}

A big thank-you to Simon and Schuster Canada for this one!

FREEBIES:

 Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble by HP Mallory {GoodReads}
Just Ella by Annette K Larsen {GoodReads}

The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan {GoodReads}
What My Mother Doesn't  Know by Sonya Sones {GoodReads}

Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano {GoodReads}
Losing It by Cora Carmack {GoodReads}

  • I'm doing a cover reveal for my holiday novella the week of September 30th and I've asked bloggers for help. There will be a giveaway to go along with it and people who participate in the reveal get an extra entry. Plus, you know, I'll love you forever if you help me. ;-)
  • I did another Gilmore Girls Monday post - this time it was my thoughts on the first few episodes of season 3
  • I participated in Top Ten Tuesday this week and shared the 10 (well, 11) books I'm most hoping to read this fall
  • I reviewed Sweet Thing by Renee Carlino and gave it 2.5 stars
  • I reviewed Kiss Me in Paris by Kimberly Kinrade and Dmytry Karpov and gave it 4 stars

Don't forget to sign up for the 3rd Annual Spooktacular Paranormal Reading Challenge. It starts October 1st (although you can start reading any time), and there's a bigger prize this year!

How was your week? Did you get any new books? Have you read any good ones that you'd recommend? Tell me in the comments below or post a link to your Stacking the Shelves/Book Haul/In My Mailbox/Showcase Sunday, etc. Happy reading! <3

  6. I'm really curious about Full Ride. I have read a few books by her and enjoyed them. My students like her too. Come and see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

  7. I enjoy having small or no book hauls now. I've become so picky, and now I'm putting a tiny dent in my TBR. Have a great week and can't wait to see the new cover.
