The Canadian Reading Challenge Review Link-Up

Welcome to the Canadian Reading Challenge, and the kick-off of Canadian Spotlight Month here at Ramblings of a Daydreamer!

I have a month full of Canadian awesomeness for you guys - giveaways, guest posts, and tons of other goodies. I hope you’ll remember to check back often to see what’s going on. You might want to subscribe to the blog or follow by email (left-hand side of blog) to keep up with the daily posts so you don’t miss anything.

Today’s focus is the Canadian Reading Challenge. This is the post where you can link up the reviews for the books you’ve read. The original post with the guidelines/purpose of the challenge is HERE if you need a refresher.

Before you share your reviews:
*Make sure you’re signed up! Only people whose names are on the original Linky will be eligible for the prize at the end. I’m leaving the Linky open until July 30th so you can join the challenge anytime.
*Make sure you’re following Ramblings of a Daydreamer (GFC is on right-hand side of the blog).
*All reviews must have a date of July 1st, 2012 or later.
*To complete the challenge, you must read and review a minimum of three books either by Canadian authors or set in Canada. Each book reviewed gets you an entry in the giveaway.
*In the Linky, post a direct link to your review (either on your blog, GoodReads, Amazon, etc).

If you need ideas for books, here’s the list of Canadian authors I’ve compiled with help from several other bloggers. I’m sure there are tons of others, and I’ll be adding to it throughout the month.

If you’re on Twitter, feel free to use the hashtag #CdnRC (CRC is already being used for something else!) so we can find each other and keep up with each others’ progress.

If you have questions at any point throughout the challenge, don’t hesitate to ask. The easiest way to reach me is either through Facebook or Twitter.

Let's share the love for some amazing Canadian authors! Happy reading!

  1. Follow you if you follow me. ;) I'm not into twitter or facebook and hope you see queries here; like whether the winning $10.00 can be for what we need (aka no limitation). I have enough Canadian content. If so, I look forward to your contest and did already advertise for you.

Thank you for propagating awareness of our authors (including you I presume)! In honour of our country's special day July 1, how about stopping by my post about my home? Happy Canada Day to one and all! http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2012/06/27/my-home-and-native-land/

  3. Finally got an opportunity to review my books on goodreads. My computer's hard drive died on me just before July 1st. I did start these books on July 1st though and was able to read quite a few (funny how much more time I had to read with no computer lol) One book is reviewed on shelfari because it was not available on goodreads.
